Hey Ladies My lady at Wedding Salon told me that if you order the dress and have it shipped out of state you don't have to pay the NY sales tax, and that would save a lot of money on the gown. My sister's friend is a housewife in New Jersey and said we could ship it there. But I don't know...that seems risky to me. I'm not so sure I want the nausea that comes with your dress not going directly to the salon. What if she wasn't home to get the package?? Its a MAJOR package going to her house, its not exactly a a toaster, you know?? It would definitely save a few hundred bucks. Is it worth it?? Do you know anybody who did this? I need to make the decision Friday when I go to order..
Deep down inside I don't want to do it just because I'm a complete worrier and I don't think my nerves could take it.

i know it sounds nice especially when you are trying to save on whatever you can ... but honestly as much as i want to save i want to be in control more than that! im a total control freak and would be a mess doing this ... if you feel comfortable than ship it to Jersey ... it you dont than just pay the tax ...

In my case the bridal salon is shipping the dress to me as I moved to Florida, the same was as my MOH dress who live out of the country... it is a little scary but I am making them add insurance to the dress and that is all I can do (other than pay someones ticket or my plane ticket to pick up and bring it over here where I am having my alterations done).
