I need to find my shoes before my dress can be ordered. I have an idea of the style I want, but what about the material. Do they have to be dyed white, or canI jsut get white & leve it.
My dress is white satin, should I ljust look for white satin shoes?
Also, does anyone know any place in NYC to look, that has wide widths? I don't want to oder online if I can help it.
Thanks!

Re: Shoe help
I wound up getting shoes at Estelle's on Rte 110. They have wides there. Also, in Brooklyn there is a store on Flatbush Avenue near Avenue N (Mill Basin) called MoneySavers/ They have all kinds of shoes and large selection of sizes. They were just out of anything I liked. LOL. In Manhattan, try the Bridal Building. If anyone has it, they will.

Re: Shoe help
Why do you need to buy the shoes first? I bought mine after I order the dress. Way after I ordered the dress. I bought mine at MGM. You may also want to try DSW

That hapens to me all the time.
I need my shoes first, b/c there is work on the bottom , so it can't be hemmend. They are measuring it to my height before they place the order.
Thanks for the tips. So white satin is white satin? I don't ned to get dyables?

Re: Shoe help
I can't help with the shoes because I haven't looked yet myself. BUT something in your post caught my eye - even a dress with work on the bottom should be able to be hemmed. They just take it up at your waist. double check with your seamstress.
