Can anyone recommend some good shoe sites and or physical shops to visit? I want open toe shoes but I need a very small heel as I'm just about FH's height and with my big updo, I don't want to be taller than him in pictures.

At www.myglassslipper.com, you can select the style (open or closed toe) and also the heel height.
Even if you just browse all of the shoes, they always list the heel height. It's very helpful.
