What is the difference between Crepe and Satin???

is one darker than the other? or are they both 'white' that can be dyed?

They're both white that can be dyed.

Crepe is matte and has a texture to it, while satin is shiny and smooth.

I believe crepe has less shine than satin. My dress is chiffon so I don't want satin shoes. You can kinda see the difference in the pic I attached (satin in back, crepe in front). Hope this help!

ETA: They are both white that can be dyed!
