Shamma I have a shoe closet that has about 50 pairs of shoes. And I just gave away about 8 pairs to a charity shop, b/c they were either old or didn't fit me well (but I didn't realized after I have worn them a few times).

I think Lenny has only about 5 pairs or so...

girl, it first started out buying them in like 2-3 dif colors (same shoe) then I would buy like 4 pairs like every week or 2 and hide them in the trunk of my car! then if the coast was clear, I'd sneak them into my closet with my other shoes and if todd asked, I'd be like 'you've seen these before' or 'this is my first time wearing them' lol

I have a majority of the shoes at my mother's house.. I have no room for them at our itty bitty apt. so I rotate them out of my bedroom/under my bed at home/and attic, according to what I am wearing (seasons) =(

My dream is to have enough space that FH and I can convert a bedroom into my very own closet! I often forget about what shoes I already have that I end up buying shoes that look similar..

I was totally into these ankle strapped pointy toed shoes my gf had on.. I was like ' Todd, I HAVE to get those' he goes 'Marce, you have those' I DID! lol I hadn't seen them out of the box that I forgot about them! lol

Oh my Marcella... I think Lenny is lucky that I can't stand pointy toes shoes on my feet... So its not the season now. But once the square/round toes are back, and the heel is under 3', I may be in trouble...

My superfavorite pair of shoes comes for a store called 'Bologna' in Florence... I can't wait for the summer to wear them... Yay

LOL.. I have some round toed ones too! lol geeze.. shoes are always in though,. that's what's soo great about them.. I happen to LOVE pointy toed shoes.. dunno what it is, but the pointier the better.. lol

I'm sure you can get some riduculous shoes in Italy!! *sigh*

Alina.. there is this store.. it's on lexington avenue and I think 42nd? perhaps 43rd? not sure.. but they have some great shoes in the back.. all dif kinds and namebrands.. and for great prices!! its called rio de janeiro...also, check out Donna Dora on ^th avenue and 43rd street.. really nice, dirt cheap shoes..

Marcella, it would be a shame for us to meet, we would do damage together, girl I know what you mean. I bought the same shoe in the same color, that is how bad it is. I had to carry it back. If mom did not live in NJ I am sure I would have some there, I hate to feel as if I need something but b/c of distance I cannot get it. I have to say, since I got engaged I have been SOOO good.. I have not bought any shoes.. (well if you don't count the ones Ive said I liked and Todd buying for me)

Would you believe this foolish girl told me that the reason I like to shop soo much is because I need to fill a void.. I told her to STFU.. before I fill her void with my brand new pointy toed shoe lol

Yes tell her the void you need to fill is the space that was left empty by the one you are wearing The nerve. I wear a size 10

I have shopped A LOT LESS since things became serious with Lenny too... I think I have stopped shopping just to shop and it got replaced by shopping for things that I need or want to replace.
I also no longer have a 'need' to have a different outfit for every date, which is the case in the beginnnig of relationships.

Does that make sense? Although I am guilty of purchasing a $20 pair of platform style boots just a week ago, that have over 4' heel, but b/c of platform at the front don't break my feet. But for $20 even lenny approved it. LOL

BTW, I usually wear size 6, with exception of narrower shoes, and then its 6.5
