Re: shoe review site
now THAT'S a GTG I could really get into!!!
But I noticed that I have tons of summer sandals but not as many winter shoes...there's a store on 43rd and 3rd (I think) where I used to always find nice shoes...I miss midtown!!

*Saying this with one eye close and fingers crossed behind my back* I do not need another pair of anything, that is of course another pair comes on the scene that is too cute to refuse I am off to the spa on Friday for a day of pampering and stuff, mani, pedi, massage and maybe a facial

Re: shoe review site
Eroxgirl, if you need winter shoes, you must shop now... So many cute boots are now on sales all over the place... The last pair that I got for $20 was from a small shop in the village, on 6th Ave, between 4th and 8th streets... on the East side of the street. The guy was willing to sell me 2 pairs for $30, but what the hell would I do with 2 pairs of identical boots.

Re: shoe review site
actually, I beat the HE L L out of my favorite every-day boots...to the point where I've replaced the sole and the heel twice...if I bought two pairs I wouldn't be worried about trying to find them AGAIN!

Aaah, I know the feeling... Isn't it the worst that you never know how frequently you'll wear the shoes until you've worn them out!!!
I have just replaced my 'tango' shoes - i.e. closed toe, closed heel, but with an ancle strap, and was contemplating for a little while on purchasing 2 pairs.... But decided against it b/c it would give me more reasons to shop in the future

I was in 9 West at lunch looking for boots, my old faithful are so worn out, I feel water coming thru them. They are so darn comfy too

Re: shoe review site
Marcella, that's why I can't wear high heels no more!!! I have a little tiny buninette thingie probably from wearing too high of a heel in the past. So my doc said, no more than 1'-1.5' heels for me... I still wear some higher ones, but much less often, b/c I don't want it to become worse and have to have a surgery.

Re: shoe review site
All this shoe talk is making me so sad. I LOVE summer shoes but I have yet to find a pair that doesn't tear up my feet. I get blisters so easily
