Is there a rule to wearing open toe vs. closed toe shoes for september wedding?

My BF (Bxgell2) and I went to a bridal store in Sayville that sells lots of wedding shoes and we both fell inlove with the open toed shoes. She's getting married on 10/31 so I asked the saleswoman what the 'rule' for wearing open toed shoes was and she said there is none. She said people buy open toed shoes all year long now and that's all you see on the runways these days. So just buy what you love! Plus, Sept is still warm!

These are mine. They're 3.5 inches.

They are a lot higher than I originally wanted but I just fell in love with them and had to have them
