Shoes?

I just started trying on dresses and it realized that I would need the shoes I plan to wear before the dress is altered?!?!

Where do I look for COMFORTABLE shoes? I'm thinking 2 inches or less?

I got mine at PayLess... but I am planning on taking them off at the reception and putting on flip flops, so thats why I didn't want to spend too much on shoes...
