i was in dsw this weekend looking for black shoes to wear to a wedding. i went to rego park and to carle place. i had no luck. i saw every shoe in there, tons...but they had no white wedding shoes. sorry yabbobay.
maybe its hit & miss?

oh i forgot, i saw TONS of wedding shoes on saturday in LUV MY SHOES in carle place also!

I tried Luv my shoes last week and DSW this week and found absolutely nothing, maybe you are right that it is hit or miss becuase alot of people have suggested it.

Jennbaby where exacly is this sandys place in mass. I have off from work tommorrow and would like to go check it out.

I bought mine at a bridal shoe store across from Roosevelt field....right before the DSW (Bridal Shoe Boutique)

When I went to DSW they didn't have a large selection (I also went to Rego Park and Carle Place) but they did have a few.

Also, Dyeing for You has a large selection. There is one in Astoria but I think there is also one on the Island.

I got mine at Craft Shoes in Commack too. So did my mom and bridesmaids.

Tara - Sandy's Shoes is on Sunrise Highway right next to the IHOP in Massapequa. I think there's a Mobil Station on one corner, another gas station on the other corner, IHOP, and then a little strip mall with Sandy's Shoes in it.

VickiC has it dead on - it is just east of Park Blvd in Massapequa Park. Heading east there is a Mobil on the one corner, Sunoco on the adjacent corner, IHOP, then the strip of stores. There is a Dunkin Doughnuts in the strip as well. It is directly across from the Massapequa Park LIRR station.

I just got my shoes there. Good luck.

Try Casa Di Mario on Main St in Patchogue. They have all kinds of dress shoes. I got my shoes there.

Several weeks ago, DSW in Carle Place had a bunch of bridal shoes. Then, when I went back a few days later, there were only a few out Where did those Kenneth Coles go??????????

I'd definitely recommend the Bridal Shoe Boutique just a few blocks west, on same side of Old Country Road. Unfortunately, I found them too late.

Before I found BSB, I bought my shoes from a bridal shop in my neighborhood. I love them, but they ended up being too white for my dress and the shop did not dye. I had a heck of a hard time finding someone to dye them...they needed just a slight tint, and most of the shoemakers I went to didn't have the color in their book. Finally found someone in NYC who mixes his own colors. I'd definitely recommend buying from someone who tints/dyes also.
