Re: SHOES
It's not Suffolk but I finally found the perfect shoes at Moonlight Couture in Merrick. I had a hard time since I wanted quality, comfort AND style but I absolutely love my shoes. They are by a manufacturer called Grace and aren't sold in many places. Good Luck.

Re: SHOES
I got my shoes, FG shoes & Moms shoes at Sandy's.My Mom's were a nightmnare, her dress is called Mink, it's a really rich brown. We gave them a huge swatch & when I went to pick them up they were army green. They apologized & redid them, when we picked up the 2nd pair they looked good, when my mom got them home she realized the straps were dirty! She flipped. I brought them back & the owner was quite nasty about their return policy, he did give me my money back but I'd never go there again!
My Mom went to Casa something in Patchogue she said they had ten times as many shoes & they were really nice. She picks them up today! I let you know how they look later!

Re: SHOES
Varone's in Sayville (right on Main Street), I bought mine there & I loved them!!! They have a GREAT selection & I bought my accessories there too, such as my purse, stockings, bridesmaids jewelery, etc...it's a cute town too, we went to lunch at the cafe there, yummy food!!! Take your bridesmaids there with you & make a day trip out of it, trust me, you will find the best selection there!!!! Here's my shoes, I wore them all day for my wedding & they were soooooo comfortable! They have a 2 & 3/4 heel.

Re: SHOES
I wouldn't reccomment Sandy's in Massapequa...I also had a bad experience with them. I went to get my shoes dyed there for a bridal party I was in and I gave them a swatch from my dress (which was burgundy). WHen I went to pick up my shoes a few days before the wedding, they were purple!!!
The lady that worked there (Owner's wife??) basically told me there was nothing they could do. Extremely unhelpful and rude. I wouldn't suggest going there for your shoes...especially since there are so many other places.

Re: SHOES
There is a place in Bayside where my mother gets her shoes. Hazel's is its name. I dont know any in Suffolk County. But Hazels seems to be good. They take any shoe and will dye it for you.
