Hi girls!! I haven't really been posting much in a long long time but I'm finally having a mini melt-down and need help!! I went to order my dress yesterday (allure 8362) and I was told that I need to have the exact shoes I will wear to the wedding when I am measured because the dress has to be ordered with a custom length. So now I am freaking out because I had no intention of buying shoes a year before my wedding. Do any of you guys know good shoe stores where I should look??? I hope you girls can help me.
Thanks

Re: Shoes
do you know how heigh you want to wear them. I would no but my shoes if you are not ready but if you no you want to wear a minimum of 3 inches then bring any shoes that are 3 inches heigh for example.

Re: Shoes
You don't need to buy your shoes now if you're not ready.....do you know what heel height you're most comfortable with? that'll do the trick!
Besides, they'll hem it in the first or second fitting.
Macy' s, DSW has nice shoes....the have most of the Nina line

Re: Shoes
I had the same situation. I actually found my dress over a year ago and put down a deposit. They are also doing the custom hem for me since I'm so short, so I needed to find my shoes first before they put my order in. I finally found a pair and plan on going there in the next few weeks. You can take your time before ordering, however, make sure that your dress isn't going to discontinue anytime soon...
As for websites with shoes you can shoebuy.com zappos.com dsw.com myglassslipper.com lovemyshoes.com
Happy hunting!!

Re: Shoes
Just bring whatever shoe height you think you are going to be wearing and then wait for 'the' shoe!

Re: Shoes
I ordered mine from an amazing vendor on Ebay. She had Grace shoes which are pretty expensive for very cheap. And, they are SO comfy! Let me know if you want me to FM you the seller info.

Re: Shoes
Im an allure bride too... they dont even have that style number up on the site anymore that it is still available to order ........ i would double check the info that the bridal salon gave you and just get a shoe with the right height - although when i was sized to put my order in - they didnt need to figure out what type of shoe - come to think of it, the woman only measured me for size - not length......

Re: Shoes
Thanks soooo much girls! I can't believe I'm stressing over shoes when there are so many other things to think about. I think I'm going to look around this week and see if I find something and if not just use an estimate and hope for the best. I was thinking that if I say three inch heels and then buy shoes that have three and a half inch heels it won't matter tooo much, like the dress wil be a li<3ttle shorter but nothing too noticeable...I dont know anymore HAHA
