i don't know if this is a silly question or not but should i buy my shoes before i order my dress so i know how tall i'm going to be?

also, where did everyone go to get their shoes?

Yes, I would if I were you. I am searching for shoes right now, they told me before I could actually order my dress I need my shoes cause there is sooooo much bead work at the bottom it will not be able to be hemmed. Most places will tell you to buy the shoes before they measure you.

I depends on your dress. If your gown has a lot of detailing, I'd recommend getting your shoes first. That way they can do a hollow to hem measurement on you and when the designer cuts the fabric, they cut it to your height. This way when the gown comes in, it shouldn't have to be hemmed.

But if your gown is more simple, or has a lot of empty space in the middle, you can wait. This way they can hem not by cutting the bottom, but by taking it up from the middle.
