Shoes

Davids Bridal came out with these cute wedge shoes that are about 1'. They have sparkles all over them and i was thinking about getting them. When i told my FMIL she had a problem with this. Apparently, I am supposed to wear heals??? I am almost 5'8. When i tried on my dress they told me i am the perfect height and they might not even have to hem the length. Is anyone even going to see my shoes!!!??? I don't understand what the big deal is? I rather be comfortable on my wedding day. If I wear heels I am going to be so scared walking in them! ugh

wear whatever YOU want to wear. If you want to be comfortable then wear flats who cares what everyone else thinks.. my sister wore converse and my cousin wore toms lol but they were comfy!

You don't HAVE to wear anything. There are no rules about shoes you do whatever makes you comfortable.

Wear what you want, don't listen to anyone else. My MIL also made a comment to me because I decided on kitten heels (I'm short). I just let her talk, and told her this way I can wear them all night and be comfortable. She let it go.

Wear what YOU want to wear. I am 5' 8 1/2' I will not need high heels (and would probably not only be uncomfortable in them but break my neck trying to walk in them lol) or to hem the dress as most wedding dresses are made for women 5' 9'. My fiance is 5'8' and I don't want to tower over him in heels either. I am wearing a shoe from David's Bridal with a 1 1/2' heel.

Do what is best for You and what You are most comfortable in.

I'm 5'10 and wearing a sparkly pair of ballet flats. I wear flats more often then heels and I want to be super comfortable that day.

Ugh this bothers me so much!! It's amazing how many opinions people have!!! Show me where it says I HAVE to wear heels!!!! No where!! I don't like that weddings make everyone tell u what u have to do and what u can't do!! My banquet manager even told me u have to wear heels till after your first dance ....Um what! Lol do whatever u want!! I think I know what shoes u r talking about....im thinking about them too!! Go for it!!!

AMEN! LOL I KNOW!!!!! <--- About everyone and their opinions. I lost it on my mom over the weekend and i was like 'i am so tired of everyone and their stupid opinions!!!!' i REALLY am. I feel like the next person who gives me their opinion i am going to kill them. I didn't even ask her for her opinion! I told her i was thinking about them and and as soon as i said 1 inch wedge thats when the opinions start flying out of her mouth...ugh
