MY BP is wearing all the same shoe. MY MOH is asking is she can wear something different b/c she is insecure about her height. She is very tall and doesn't want to wear a 2 1/2' heel. I want to accomidate her but, I plan on taking pictures of the shoes so, is it possible to cut down the heel?

I would see if you can get the same shoe but not so high. That is what I am doing!

I tried! I was just wondering if it's even possible before I ask a shoemaker.

Re: Shoes - Bride vs MOH
my aunt bought her wedding shoes in a bridal store in manhattan and they cut her heel for her bc she is tall and they were too high, your MOH can definitely have them cut if she goes to a good place that will do it. She can call a few places and ask.

If you can't get the lower heel in the same shoe I would let her just get lower shoes of her/or your choice. The last thing you need is an uncomfortable MOH on the big day. She has to be on top of things right?

It really depends on the way the shoe is made and particularly how rigid the arch is, because it has to flatten out if you cut the heel. My mother used to do this and it ruins some shoes.
If you can afford to risk ruining one pair to get them all the same, try it.
But I think it would look really cute if she has a totally different pair, trying to match everyone with a similar pair doesn't seem like it would be successful.

Actually, I've made it easy on her. I hired a DOC!
