What are you doing about BM shoes? Are you choosing the shoes for your BM or are you letting them choose their own shoes? Every wedding I have been in the bride has chosen the shoe. I was thinking of givng them a few different dyeable styles and take them to the same place to get dyed.
Also can you make any suggestions on where I can find reasonably priced dyeable shoes.
I will pick out the shoes but they will probably help me pick them out. I do want them to be comfortable although comfort is not the most important thing because I will probably get them all slippers to change into later on if their feeties hurt.
Now as for where to buy... you could try Shoes Etc in the Delco Plaza shopping center in Hicksville. I LOVE that shoe store! We got our BM shoes for my cousin's wedding there.

Re: Shoes for BM
I am letting them decide. I told them either silver or died to match the color. I don't care if open or closed (but if they choose open toes MUST be pedicured!!!---Otherwise EWE!)
Their dress goes to the floor (I am talking to salon to make sure of it) so i doubt you'd even see them enough to care.

Re: Shoes for BM
IMO, the BMs should chose their own shoes. Everyone has different needs for comfort when it comes to shoes. Some ladies can't wear a heel that's too high, some can't wear a strap across their instep, some have wide feet, some narrow etc. Perhaps you could just say that you prefer an open toe or a closed toe & let them take it from there. Their shoes will be the last thing anyone notices anyway. They'll be too busy looking at the beautiful bride.

My BM's are choosing their own shoes and they will dye them to match. I am more concerned for their comfort, besides not many people will be looking at their shoes. Try Parade of Shoes or Love My Shoes for dyeables.

I am letting them pick whatever they want just as long as they are dyed to match. They all have different comfort levels with the heels. It just makes life easier with 6 BMS.

Re: Shoes for BM
Sandy's Shoes in Massapequa had a nice selection of shoes .. and had lots of wide widths too .. for those who need that.
It turned out that when I was shopping around for shoes, I found a perfect compliment to the BM dress .. and it was a shoe with a comfortable cut .. not too narrow .. and it also came in wide .. anyway .. it just worked out .. plus I only had to worry about 1 MOH & 1 BM .. made things easier.
ETS: They dyed the shoes, including the Flower Girl's .. and it turned out great!
And here's a timesaving tip .. if needed .. I left the swatches with them ahead of time, so they made up the dye to have it ready for when I brought the shoes in. This saved us time, especially since one girl was from out-of-state and the other had been out of the country for family emergency ... and we needed to juggle getting shoes and fittings and such.
