I need your opinion ladies - I am getting married the night before Thanksgiving and my wedding is Black Tie Preferred. Do you think it is appropriate for my BM's to be in open toed shoes (no pantyhose)? I would LOVE any opinions and advice.
TIA!!!

Re: SHOES FOR BM'S
It's fine. I am assuming they are wearing long dresses?

Re: SHOES FOR BM'S
I honestly don't know anything about black tie but I would guess if they are in fancy dresses and if the shoes are fancy too then it's just fine. I honestly doubt that anyone would notice if they have pantyhose on!

What about the pantyhose they make for open toed shoes? I know I've seen them at Bloomingdales but I'm sure they sell them all over. I think its fine as long as they are wearing floor-length gowns.

I don't see a problem with open toed shoes and no pantyhose. My MOH wore pantyhose and my BM didn't. It's really up to the BM and what's comfortable. If you're thinking about how it might look. Photographers really don't get 'good' pictures of the feet so I wouldn't worry about it being in pictures. I think if the dress is formal enough they won't need pantyhose.

Yes, I think open-toed shoes would be fine.

Re: SHOES FOR BM'S
It is not okay to wear open toe shoes without stickings in November. It is a black tie affair and therefor I suggest closed toe. There are alot of very nice closed toe shoes.
