I haven't decided on a color for their dresses or really 'my colors' just yet but I do know that I want the girls to be able to wear shoes that they like. (my main color ideas for dresses right now are deep purple, cranberry or deep red) I was thinking since I want their dresses to be floor length, what do you all think of nude shoes? They could all be different shoes as long as they are the same shade of nude?

I'm doing floor length dresses as well. Because of that I'm letting them choose whatever shoes they want, no matter the color. They won't be seen anyway and I want them to be able to buy/wear whatever they want.

If you want to stick with a single color though, I'd say nude is probably the best bet. Depending on the actual dress color you could probably do black or silver too.

Since I'm doing floor length, I don't care what they wear. But if I say that to my FSIL she'll wear combat boots covered in spikes. SO I will be giving them a color (prob black or silver since most people already have those in their closet) and just say strappy sandals as a style. Know your girls and how much free reign you can give them lol

I've been in a few weddings where the bride asked us to just wear nude and we all wore different shoes.. it looked great!

My bridesmaids dresses are floor length and I told them they can wear any shoe they want as long as it's nude color. It doesn't bother me if it's a different shade of nude either. You will barely see the shoes anyways so I just want them to be comfortable!

I am doing floor length also and I told my girls they can wear any shoes they want as long as they are silver. My thinking is, I'm gonna wear something comfortable (I'm wearing flats) so they should be able to also.

I'm also doing floor length dresses and I'm going to tell them they can wear any flat sandal (most likely gold or silver depending on what color combination I choose). I don't want anyone wearing heels so they can be comfortable because I definitely won't be wearing heels.

I think the easiest for everyone is the best. Nude sounds so nice! Just don't be too specific. FSIL has to find chocolate brown shoes for a wedding she is in, and it's been impossible. It basically makes you find dyeables which are pricey and annoying.
