I can't figure out where to go for my shoes. I need to get them soon b/c I have to start my fittings. I went to Craft Shoes in Commack, DSW, and some other place out there b/c I was at my parent's house.
Now I'm back in the city - where can I get shoes (cheaply) here? I don't want to go too cheap where they are uncomfortable, but I also don't want to spend over $100. Thanks!

Ladies, have you been to 8th street between Bway and 6th Ave in the east village? if you start at bway and keep walking to 6th there are more shoe stores than you can imagine. Also, there are 2 stores worth checking out in the garment district, they are right on 7th Ave between 37 and 39th, on the west side of 7th. One is called Good Choice and I'm not sure of the name of the other. Good Choice is well, a good choice, they have noth Euro brands and brands like Kenneth Cole. None of these stores have 'dyeables' though if that is what you need. Also of course, try Macy's Herald Square, or Bloomingdale's on Lex and 59th. Good luck!
