I need your help deciding on what kind of shoes to buy. My dress is ivory with silver detail across the chest and along the bottom and on to the train. Should I order silver shoes with rhinestones or plain ivory? I don't want the flashy ones to clash with the detail on the bottom of the dress yet, I want to dress up the dress some more.
I would wear metallic silver shoes with no embellishments. Do you have a photo of the dress? Perhaps you should post it so a better advice can be provided. Sometimes visuals work better

I'd say buy dyables and have dyed to match the ivory exactly.. and some come with embellishments on them, so you could have both

I would get plain silver shoes without rhinestones. It will dress it up a little bit without going overboard!

I vote for silver shoes plain or with minor beading... it will look fabulous and different.

You can find shoes that aren't 'metallic' but are actually a silver fabric . . . . I would go for that (I have a similar dress, diamond white with silver embroidery around the bottom, up the back, and on the bodice). The true metallic shoes are too silver, and the plain white are too plain! But I found some shoes that are hard to explain, but look like the same silver threading in my dress . . . . I wish I had a pic!!! I haven't bought them yet so I can't show you, but I'll try to find them online!
