Soooo I had to go out and buy the shoes I'm going to wear with my dress already. They have to measure my length to know which size dress to order, and in order to do that they need to know how tall I will be the day of. I'm short so they're not sure if I need a petite or a regular. Also, my dress is mostly lace and they're concerned with how they are going to hem it. So I ended up ordering these shoes from Zappos.com. My other problem is that my dress is a weird color. It's by Maggie Sottero and the color is called Light Gold. So I'm trying to find the 'right' gold. I'm going tonight to see how well they match. I'm absolutely in love with these ones I found so wish me luck!! I don't want to have to keep looking
THEY WERE THE WRONG COLOR I think dyable shoes are going to be my route. Oh well!

Exactly!! That was what the lady that helped me with the dress told me to look for. They are actually very comfortable, but I must admit, I am a heals gal, so my feet might be used to the height.

I actually bought the floor sample dress so its already at the store. I still have to schedule my first fitting......prob the begininng of June. I feel like thats cutting it close but thats what they said!

Since they already have it June is plenty of time. Usually what takes so long is getting the dress in. I'll keep you updated!

So cute! You could also get a white satin shoe and dye it if need be. They can match any color if you have a swatch of your dress. HTH!

It's a 5' heel with a 2' platform, so they feel like 3' They are very comfortable... It's too bad they didn't match my dress
