My company has had 'summer Fridays' the past few years where we had every other Friday off. I was really counting on that happening again this year so I could go to fittings and take care of other wedding business. But we just found out we aren't having those, that we may get to leave a little early on Fridays. I'm so bummed out.

I am hoping that my department will continue with our alternating half day fridays in the summer. Fingers crossed.

True...but when you work until 7 every day, early isn't so early. And doesn't help with meeting people at places that close at five.
I'm just throwing myself a pity party today as this was the final straw in a bunch of things. Woe is me! Thanks for the hugs, ladies!
