shopping: what's the magic number...

that makes you get nervous?

I was shopping for some clothes. While in the fitting room, I was adding everything up. Once it hit $300, I freaked out and started putting a bunch of stuff back...

Totally depends on why I am shopping ... and I don't really have a LIMIT but I don't think I've ever spent more than $400 at a store ...

I only get nervous when 1 item is more than $200. Other than that, I don't really keep track. It makes for a nice surprise at the register

For me it depends, I usually reserve a certain amount of money for shopping or have left over money from money a give myself each week for various things (gas, last minute groceries, etc.). I do love a good bargin though!

I think the MOST Ive ever spent IN ONE DAY of shopping is $200, and at one store $150.

It really depends on how much I'm getting for my money, but usually it's around $200. When I shop for 'home' stuff I tend to go nuts. Like today, I walked in to Target bought sheet's for our King Size bed, a duvet for our guest bedroom and sheets and throw pillows to match. I just couldn't help myself!

If its a nice dress or suit its one thing.. but when its lots of little stuff.. half of which will never get worn.. thats when I panic lol
