short and sweet gowns

I would like to get a mini, tea, or knee gown for my reception. Any advice on which local stores have a good selection?
Close to Melville would be good.
Looking for under 1500$

Davids Bridal usually has a nice selection of 'short and sweet' gowns

Also, a lot of bridesmaid dresses come in tea length, so you may want to shop in the bridesmaid section for a dress in the color you want for your reception

I'm altering a second dress to be my short dress. Still haven't decided on a skirt shape though. probably will be right above the knee. try estelle's. they get some short white dresses in for cheapppp!! I saw one real cute one the last time i was there.

If you're willing to go to NYC, RK bridal has great selection. Watters and watters does 'short and sweet' dresses that are adorable!!!! So pretty. Definitely under $1,500.
My second dress, which is a Mori Lee dress, which I will be wearing to the reception cost $750. I'm having it altered to short.
