I know this is bad, but if I open a post and it is really long, I usually skip it... or, i read a little bit at a time and end up posting on it after everyone and their mother gave their 2 cents.

It depends on the thread, if its really interesting or funny or there is drama, i will usuallly read it. But i do like short and sweet also!
