I think that you should not feel obligated to invite people that you dont really have a relationship with. And they shouldnt really expect an invitation IMO..if FH dosent have a relationship with them

I feel that only people who should be at your wedding are people who love you and care about you. Co-workers that are acquanticies don't count. If his boss is so concerned about everyone going...tell him he can pay for them

um, his boss should have no say in who he invites to the wedding. all or none or a few, whatever he decides to do, its completly up to him.

People are so annoying! His boss is probably asking that the other coworker be invited for selfish reasons, maybe he would be more comfortable there if all the coworkers were at your wedding.

It really depends on your budget and who he wants at the wedding but I voted only those he is close to. But even that is hard to do without offending others. Sometimes it's better to invite all or none. We went with none!

He could make it even easier on himself by not inviting anyone, unless he hangs w/ those coworkers you mentioned a lot.

I have an office of 63 people (that's just the sales department in the LI office. there are over 1000 in the whole company!) I'm only inviting the people I work closely with on a day to day basis which is like 20, but they all know that only the married ones are allowed to bring someone and they're all cool with that.

I have a huge number of people at my office and I couldn't possibly afford to invite everyone. FH and I decided to invite co-workers that we socialize with alot in and out of work. People we go to lunch with at work and people we hang out with outside of work. You shouldn't feel obligated to invite everyone and people will understand.
