My FH is wondering if he should invite his secretary/receptionist to the wedding. They don't have much of a relationship, and he said that over the time that she's been working for him, he can sum up their conversations into 1 hour. I told him to compare this on whether or not he would take her and her date to a nice restaurant for dinner, and he said, 'no'. I guess he just feels obligated to invite her, but we already have way too many guests coming, and it's better that she does not come. What do you think, does she need to be invited?

Depends...is he inviting anyone else? She does do work for him..but I would extend the invitation. She might not even come but it's the thought that counts!

I would put her on a B list. If someone RSVPs that they can't make it, send her an invite. She might not even come and just send a gift. Or she might come and maybe your husband and her could have a better business relationship.

I don't think its necessary and if they arent close I doubt she would be offended she's not invited..

I vote no also...if they aren't close it doesn't make sense to invite her. It might actually come as a relief to her if he doesn't.
I am not inviting a lot of people from college because I feel if I invite one I have to invite them all and we already have 235 people invited, not including relatives of mine in Ireland that are considering coming! You can't invite everyone, so no!
