Should FMIL have her dress before choosing her corsage color?
I am meeting with the florist, who said we could pick corsages to match the women's dresses, or choose a generic color like white or creme. What do you all think? My mom got her dress, but FMIL hasn't picked one yet. Wait, or choose a color now? Thanks!

I would let the florist know that your FMIL doesn't have a dress and you can call them when she gets a color so her corsage matches.

I chose white for the mothers. Not pure white more of a cream.

I would just chose one color and make it easier, for yourself

I'd wait until she has her dress, there shouldn't be a rush to decide the color.

I would wait till FMIL has her dress. The florist shouldn't need that much notice.

as long as her coursage color is neutral or she knows what color her dress is the moms in my wedding all had ivory roses

Do you have to let him know the color now ? - I didn't think to check your wedding date....... If you HAVE to let him know, just go w/ something neutral like white....

Yes, ideally if you can get a swatch it is best for the florist to match precisely.

I'd wait and kindly ask the florist to wait until she gets her dress so that way it can be matched better. It is not like they prepare the flowers 6 months in advance and they need the color right away....JMO

my mil is waiting till the last sec to get a dress because she is trying to loose weight.. ive decided to do all cream color so i dont have to think about it anymore... so many little decisions !!! who would have thought?
