Should I?

Order my dress??

I really love it, it fits me perfectly (the style and all)...I am afraid though, that with 2 years until the wedding I will change my mind! I see girls trying to sell their dresses all the time! I don't want that to be...what should I do? The dress is at risk of being discontinued this year and i have a gift certificate for 100 dollars off if i order before sept 30...help!

This is exactly why I'm tryin to hold myself back from tryin ANY on... BUT, I think oif you really love it then you should def get it! It is a beautiful gown and even if you did want to sell it, I dont think youd have any prob getting most of your money back on it

Re: Should I?

Me and FH were engaged in 2005, were supposed to get married next sunday, broke up, got back together, and are now getting married in 2009. I bought my dress back in '05 and I still love it and am still planning on wearing it. So its totally up to you. If they are going to discontinue it and you love it, you might want to take the chance and buy it.

If you love it, then go for it. I have my dress and it was discontinued in 2006, but I just don't look at dresses anymore. Out of sight, out of mind.

I take my dress out every few months when I am home alone and I fall in love with it all over again

Re: Should I?

That is tough...I have been staying away from dress shopping for this very reason.... since we are getting married in 2 years I wanted to wait to see the new styles and all of that...but it is up to you... if you love it and you don't think you will ever change your mind do it....for me it is too early for the dress.

I agree if you love it, then do it. Don't look at anymore dresses. That is it your done on to the next thing. I know I change my mind alot and once I find that dress, that's it no more looking.

If you LOVE it order it... someone once said to me and it made alot of sense...

once you met FH and you knew he was the one... did you continue to look....of course i replied no... so once you find a dress and know it's the one, why would you continue to look....

that made alot of sense to me, so i say if you know it's the one order it and dont look any futher

Re: Should I?

yeah so i was also like this... i tried on several dresses, and then tried one on that made me cry... i felt different... like a disney princess... and i was convinced that i'd never feel that way in any other dress...

and so i bought it, and it was the best decision ever, because its one hell of a headache thats already overwith. :)

Re: Should I?

I would hold off...my wedding is scheduled for a few weeks after you and I'm not even allowing myself to look until the March area. It's just my opinion but I think that tastes can change given enough time. Give yourself a few days to think about it though, you'll know in your heart what to do!

Re: Should I?

I ordered my Maggie, but I also only have a year and 4 months til our wedding....she told me it takes 9 months to come in and then you need at least 2 months to start fittings. It's up to you...if you feel this is the one then get it....worst comes to worst then you buy another one and sell that one! I know 3 people who did that LOL
