Honeslty, I would too ...when I first heard about this I thought it was overkill but now after reading so many posts about receiving responses with no names I am definitely numbering ours !! Whoever thought it up..Thanks

I think you should...especially because you can then check it against your list incase someone forgets to write their name in.

I think you should. We have a lot of same last names and first names (stupid Italians ARG!) and it really helped.

you could use like a pencil or even a black light pen to put a # on the back of the RSVP cards.

so when you are putting the invites in their envelopes--you can have your address list in front of you, and number each invitee.

#1 Mr. & Mrs. Alan Ale
#2 Mr. & Mrs. Benjamin Block
#3....etc.

so that corresponding # of the person on your list--(like a spreadsheet) is written on the back of the rsvp card. so when someone sends their RSVP back......and if they don't fill in the M_______ part when you get the RSVP back--all you have to do is verify the # on the back with your invitee list to make sure you know who it is!
