also, with gloves, you can protect everyone else when everyone wants to shake your dirty hand...

I'm not a fan of gloves in general but I agree it works with the feel of your wedding so I think if you like the look of it (your taste matters not mine) go with it, I would still do some pictures without though. I definitely don't think it will look bad in any way.
