SHOULD I ADD MORE PEOPLE TO MY BP W/POLL..PLEASE REPLY
Ok some of you may know i have a large BP..31 people plus us makes 33 14 BM 13 GM 4 JrBM i am thinking about adding 4 JrGM 2-3 flowergirls 1 ring bearer 2-3 town criers
i think i am crazy for even thinking about this, but this is the first big wedding in my family, everyone else did city hall, so my entire family is so excited...originally i didn't want any kids at all but the more i think about it the more its a consideration...HONEST OPINIONS PLEASE

IMO - I can understand the desire to add more people HOWEVER you have less than three months left - If this was January I would probably say go for it - but due to time restraints I think you should rethink that - Can you add people as hostesses? Readers? Greeters? Ushers??

all the people that are up for consideration are kids, neices & nephews...all the adults are already in the wedding

I think that at some point it will get a little too hectic with all of those people.
I know you are excited about being the first big wedding in your family, but that will mean that everyone will be excited about it all and dont necessarily need a formal 'bridal party' title.
I think you already have more than enough.

our wedding party was a fair size as well.....there were 22 including us. that was a lot to deal with on its own, never mind adding children ........IMO, yes, that's getting a big too big. BUT, this IS your wedding, and you don't want to have regrets........
Just think about it a bit more and see what you come up with.............you don't want to be stressed on your day worrying about everything..........

Janelle, I think this is a decision only you and your FH can make, but IMO, I think you should leave it as is.
With 31 people to gather etc for pictures etc., I think adding children to the mix will be MUCH more difficult. It's hard enough to deal with all the adults, adding children could be a recipe for a huge headache on that day.
That said, maybe they're extremely well behaved children. It's just that when things get fun or exciting, children can be hyper

more people = more drama
do yourself a favor and do NOT add anymore. i know you are excited--for DH and i we were the first to have a wedding in our families...so i know the feeling. but if you add more ppl, trust me, you will have such a headache. right now your party is so large as it is...you don't need anymore stress!

I dont think you should because for one its kind of close to the date and two, its gonna be really hectic with alot of kids

Holy moly is that a lot of people.
It is totally up to you and FH how many people you want in your BP. If the children are that important to you, then by all means go ahead and add them.

i say no. why? because its going to be really tight up there to begin with and more people = more problems as everyone says.To be honest your bp is HUGE as is- i mean i realize mine is small with only 7! Enjoy the day being about you and fh.

kids are kids! i know i can't manage them and having to corral them all for pictures and various different things for the day of would be insanity. but if you have fantastic DOC's that you can trust to get this job done for you then go for it!!

If everyone is in the wedding who will be there as guests? That's what I told my family when I had to select the BP.
IMO there are so many original ways for others to participate and you may want to consider an alternative.
But remember, it's up to you. If you can do it and it is meaningful to you, go for it.
