should i be freaking out?

i just got a call from my Mom - she went to the shop where I purchased my dress to ask when it's coming in, because they told us it would be in before the end of March. I mean, I still have plenty of time, but I was still curious. Well, it turns out, it's not being shipping until JULY 9th - exactly TWO MONTHS before my wedding. I ordered the dress SEPTEMBER 15th. I will only be coming back to NY one time between when they say my dress will be in and the wedding, so I can only have 1 fitting. And that's if it arrives when they say it will, which now I'm concerned that it won't (they said it will only take a week to ship once it ships in July - I doubt that) . What should I do?!? I'm starting to think I need to go looking for a backup The dress was so freakin expensive too, I can't afford another one. I'm so upset right now

And find a local place for alterations.

Wondering why the heck it is taking so long to come in, but thats beside the point.

First, can you just plan to come out to NY for an extra fitting so you get two in?

Also, you never know, it may get in before that! My dress arrived MUCH earlier than they told me.

We're crossin our fingers for you! Def dont go buy another dress. JMO. I really think this will work out.

I ordered my dress in August from Kleinfeld, and they told me not to expect it to come in until 6-8 weeks before, which is around the same timeframe that you seem to have... so I wouldn't worry too much!

thanks ladies - i don't think i can afford another plane ticket which is why i'm worried. i guess if worse comes to worse, i might have to beg my mom to buy me a plane ticket in august. i guess if this is the only headache i have, i should be lucky
