My DH left his wedding ring on the shelf in the bathroom today. I called him and he says that he forgot to put it back on after putting on his moisturizer(yes, he wears moisturizer). I really have no reason to doubt him, but my mind just started going places. Maybe I watch too many Lifetime movies.

It's nothing really. I forget to wear mine all the time. In fact I haven't worn mine for the past 3 weeks or so - I developed an allergic reaction to the white gold so until my platinum ones are made - I'm wearing nothing!! DH doesn't mind. He wears his around his neck because of his job, and I don't care that he doesn't wear it on his hand because women who are like that don't care if a guy is married or not.

Re: Should I be suspicious?
I have forgotten my ring a couple of times.
Unless there are other 'signs', like working late, hang up phone calls, strange numbers on the cell phone bill, I wouldn't worry at all about it!

He's not a pilot with a wife in every hub, is he??? Wait, I don't think that was a Lifetime movie ... but Jack Wagner was a hottie in it anyway
I wouldn't worry!! I like to bust DH's chops all the time when he forgets ...
Actually, I did see that one on Lifetime.
Thanks ladies. I am glad to know that other men forget their's. I think I am just a little upset that he forgot it today because it is the 5 yr. anniversary of our first date.
lol I just watched it, and they had updates at the end, was it really true?

Re: Should I be suspicious?
My dh rarely wears his ring. Because of job reasons, he usually wears it on the weekends (if he remembers) and if we are going out somewhere. A man (or woman) can cheat with or without a ring on and I'm sure the person they would be cheating on would care less. It's sad but true. And believe me, EVERYONE knows my dh is married so with or without a ring, he is still married to me-lol!
