I have four bm...and none of them have gotten there alterations started yet...or there shoes dyed. I am going to bring the youngest -16 on sunday to drop off her shoes....but the others I have no control over. MIL didn't have her dress altered yet either.
I wish they would just do it.

depends on how much they need to get done on their dresses
and shoe dying shouldn't take more than a week or two tops, so they have some time

My sisters (MOHs) went for their fittings and their dresses are currently in alterations. My one BM just went yesterday to pick out her dress.... she's 6 mos pregnant, so she had to wait until the last possible minute to choose her dress. She said the dress should be ready within 2 weeks. I'm not worried, b/c I know that it'll get done. I have way too much else to worry about!!

That is exactly what my sister - MOH said. Don't worry you know they will get it done. UGH!! What can I say I am a worrier.

I wouldn't worry just yet...my girls brought their dresses like 3 weeks ago!!!

Don't worry. I didnt even have MY fitting until 2 weeks before. There's time.

I have 8 Bms and only 2 had their alterations done yet. A couple are going this week but the others are just taking their sweet *** time but it will get done!

Some of my BMs picked up their dresses the week of my wedding because they didn't go get them altered until a few weeks before. As for shoes, I let them wear whatever they wanted so I have no idea when they purchased them.
Why don't you send a really nice email gently asking your BMs to get their dresses altered and shoes dyed by a certain date. Explain that these things take time and if something is not right, you will need the extra time to fix it.
