Should I book vendors near me or near RH

Should I book vendors near me or near RH

I have a little dilema here. My hall is in suffolk and I live in nassau... what are post people doing with booking vendors? Any particular vendor, I'd want to book near the hall?

It really doesn't matter...We actually happened to book vendors that were near my house...but that was a coincidence

our RH was near our house... but i tended to only look at vendors closer to me... i was too lazy to drive super far away for a vendor visit...

I know!!! That's my problem... tooo lazy to drive all the way to the RH area every weekend searching out vendors.. Ok... I thought there might have been some kind of advantage to the vendor's proximity to the hall..

None of my vendors were near my hall.
My hall was also in Suffolk, and I used all Nassau vendors.

my rh is near my house - some of my vendors are right here in the same neighborhood and some are out in LI (Nassau). I dont think the location really matters

Put it this way.... we live in Brooklyn and most of our vendors are either from Suffolk or Nassau! I'm from Long Island and I knew what vendors I wanted to use for our wedding.
We're getting married (church) in Brooklyn and the RH is in Queens.

It never occured to me to look at vendors based on their proximity to either my home or the RH. I looked at vendors based on their individual abilities to do the job I was hiring them to do.

In fact, the single greatest vendor I had came from the furthest distance (either from my house or the reception hall).
