I really think I should call, so does my mom... I ordered my dress from the Bridal Suite of Bayshore in March, and they said it would be in 'near the holidays'. I haven't heard from them, and I know the holidays could be closer to Chirstmas... but I still am kinda getting impatient, especially when I hear of so many people getting 'the call' early. Do you think I should call them? Are they able to check on my dress to see where it is in the making?
UPDATE: I called today, and my dress is due to be delivered to the store within the next week or two. I'm so relieved that I called... Thanks so much everyone for your help!

Maybe you should give them til closer to Xmas. I know when I think of holidays, I think of Christmastime.

I know how you feel. Mine isn't due in until around March but sometimes I freak out and say what if they really never ordered it..lol....i know i am ridiculous. You are making me want to call today to check the 'status'

Sure, it wouldn't hurt to call! By the way, I am no longer your dress twin, so I think you are the only gal wearing it!!!!

Being that you're getting married in August, i wouldn't stress. I would give them a call the first week of January. When you placed the order did you call to confirm that it was placed? I did just to make sure (i ordered my gowns from there too).

i am getting married in march and i know my dress isn't here. I checked two months ago to see what the ship date was and they informed me it will be the second week of December. Yet when i ordered it they told me Oct. They told the manufacturer my actual wedding date instead of a earlier date.
Your dress most likely will not come in when they told you because they will place the order to your wedding date and typically the manufacturer will not ship until a few months prior *this is not always the case but it is typical for clothing manufacturers.
I would wait at least till new years maybe till feb to get a ship date. If you have to know then call up the shop just say you want to make sure you have a ship date to coordinate things.

I'm gonna call... I never did call to see that the order was actually placed. I hope that they didn't push the date back, I know my wedding is in August but I'm actually in town now and can be there when it comes in and get a fitting done. I'm out of town for school most of the year so trying to schedule those things is going to be really hard.
