Should I freak out?

I am getting married on Saturday and people are calling me to apologize because they won't be able to make due to the storm. I am scared, frustrated, and very worried. I know that I have planned this for over a year, but I didn't expect this part of it.

What should I do? Do any of you have any suggestions?

dont freak out! 1. because you cannot control the situation AT all!

and 2. because you dont know what is going to come

it could end up being nothing! the hurricane could change paths or slow down etc.

for people to cancel NOW, is just not fair, they should wait it out

my wedding is next weekend and people have been trying to freak me out...saying you could have damage to your hall or the power could be out for a week, etc. etc. but there is no point in crying over things that havent even happened yet

just breathe!
and be prepared, have a plan B

go buy rain boots and pretty umbrellas and make the best of it!

bottom line is it will be you and FH getting married and thats all that really matters!

Exactly this!!! Hang in there - even if everyone doesn't show up, it will be an amazing day! Get some boots and umbrellas and embrace the rain, that's all you can do. I would just call your hall to make sure they're preppared in case anything comes up.

It's going to be amazing either way- and years from now you'll be talking about the huge hurricane that was on your wedding weekend many years ago!

Maybe the hall will extend the party since you'll all be stuck there!

Definitely call your RH and see what they say. I was supposed to go to an engagement party at the Venetian Yacht club on sunday and they were ok with cancelling and rescheduling along with all of their vendors.
People are more understanding when it comes to natural disaster.

hey sweetie don't worry. call your hall now. start from there and then work your way thru your vendors see what they suggest. don't worry your day will be awesome either way!
