should i get a food processor or Kitchen Aid mixer?? who is getting one, and what will u use it for?

FH and i went to register this weekend and their are a bunch of things i am unsure about. Is everyone registering for kitchen aid mixers and/or food processers? Are you really going to use them and for what?? Just trying to figure out if it makes sense to have ppl. spend the $ on these things for us b/c i know they are pricey and sometimes rarely used.

both! we got our mixer at our e-party, but FH won't let me take it out of the box yet... i myself don't cook/bake but he does... we don't really have room on our counters right now, but when he needs it i'm sure he'll whip it out. food processor/blender combo is good, doesn't have to be too $.

look at all the attachments for the mixer, theres so much u can do, pasta, sausages, baking

i have both on my registry and i will neede both...i love to bake so thats where the mixer comes in...the food processor will help for meals and baking!

i had registered for the kitchenaid mixer and i won it at a GNO. i have already used it to make a cake. i love it, it's my favorite thing ever. you can buy all sorts of attachments for it too! *drools* i wanna go play with it now!!
OH! We also have a tiny food chopper/processor that we love. It helps speed up the cooking process for salsa and chicken salad and stuff.
