we had one and everyone loved it. It will take people away from the dance floor but our crowd doesnt really dance.

Re: Should I get a Photo Booth?
I went to a wedding with a photo booth and everyone loved it. People were waiting on line to use it. And the bride and groom got a photo book of their guest from it.

Re: Should I get a Photo Booth?
If it's in your budget got for it, it give your guuest something to do and remember your wedding by. How much do they go for????? We went to a wedding recentely and my FH dosen't dance much and he loved the fact they had the zap screens cause it gave him something to do, so it add more to the reception which is a plus, imo.

I think they're a lot of fun and a good keepsake for all. I wish we could have gotten one, but we couldn't afford it.

IMO - it takes away from the wedding
I totally agree, People then leave the reception room to go take pictures, I am paying way to much money on my band to have people not be on that dance floor all night

Re: Should I get a Photo Booth?
We were going to get one...now I think we're going to do photo favors instead (where the company takes your picture and puts them on keychains and in frames etc). I really like the photo booth idea though. Its so different!

Re: Should I get a Photo Booth?
I think you should get one if it's in your budget and if your room at the reception hall can hold it inside without it taking to much space.

Re: Should I get a Photo Booth?
I considered it bec it's such a unique idea-I would love to go to a wedding where they had one!!- but at that time I was reading some negative reviews about the vendors that rent them....so I decided against it. Also, I agree with the brides that said that they might take guests off the dance floor (although an album of your guests making silly faces is an awesome keepsake!!!). If you really want one, can budget for it and aren't afraid it will take guests off the dance floor, then I say go for it...just research the vendors very carefully (including Better Business Bureau records and searches on here- for feedback on specific companies!!)

Re: Should I get a Photo Booth?
im getting one! i think theyre soooo much fun for the guests and make such and awesome guestbook at the end!.... also it doesnt have to take away from your reception, my photobooth is being placed in a corner of the room, so my guests can take a snapshot and hop backon the dancefloor..... i say go for it if its in the budget!

Re: Should I get a Photo Booth?
i'm a little on the fence about it.
yes its different and a cool idea but it does take people away from your wedding. if i were to get one i would make sure that it would be set up in the reception room (im very anal about everything being IN the room, bar, bathrooms everything) i dont want people leaving for any reason.
i also like the idea of photo favors but if thats your favor you have to make sure EVERYONE goes in it. what if grandma and grandpa dont go in...or 2nd cousin pete and his gf dont go in and take pictures...does that mean they dont get a favor?
my other issue was a review i read on here about how alot of the pictures taken got a lil racy and obscene. you put drunk people in a photo booth and you dont know what you;re gonna get. if i got a lot of those i would bemad i spent $2,000 on it for that.

Re: Should I get a Photo Booth?
I voted Yes, but only if it's in your budget. I was just at a wedding two weeks ago with a photo booth, and I forgot how much fun they are. IMO

Re: Should I get a Photo Booth?
yes if you have room for it at the venue and in the budget.
My venue doesn't really have a spot where it wouldn't look tacky... and we do not have the money.
