Should I get FH a Titanium or White Gold Wedding Band?
He doesn't care what kind I get. He is NO HELP!!!!!!!!
It's not going to be anything fancy, no diamonds.
Which do you think??

titanium is a million times cheaper lol
FH got titanium because he is SO rough with jewelry , especially with work...

I like white gold, but if he works with his hands alot, maybe titanium is better? Don't they make bands that are mixed with both?

Jen, I LOVE your FH's ring. I think we were looking at one similiar.
Yes my FH is extremely rough on things in general, plus he works with his hands.
Did you hear anything about titanium tarnishing??

you cant resize titanium, so if he gains or loses weight that will be a problem.

we got titanium $99 with 40 engraving it was great - its what he wanted too - i told him to get whatever he wants

FH got white gold. I'm sure it was more $$$ than titanium, but that is what he picked out.

He also liked the titanium better becuase it was SOOO light. My FH HATES to 'feel' jewelry on him and it bothers him a lot so this was good for him

DH has a titanium wedding band... he works a lot withe his hands, and is definitely NOT a jewelry guy, so he loved how lightweight the tianium is.... you just have to be sure that its the right size when he orders it, because it can't be resized..... here is DHs band...

That's the ring my DH has!!!!!!!
I do want to point out, however, that you can't resize a titanium ring. We found this out the hard way.

FH is getting 2 rings - one white gold to wear at work (he's an electrician so he works with his hands all the time) and then a platinum with diamonds that he'll wear on the weekend and for special occasions

My FH is actually getting a 'Palladium' band...
It's got all the same properties as Platinum, but it costs about half of what platinum does.
It's a great option if your FH likes platinum, but you don't want to spend the $$.

My husband told me no way to a Titanium ring b/c he is a firefighter and didnt want to have trouble cutting it off it he needed to.
It is more difficult to cut than gold. It is possible but much more difficult, so we opted for plain gold.

FH feels the same way, he won't wear the ring at work but, we'll probably get him a white gold band.
