I don't think it is a waste of money. I would do it.

Re: Should I get this fixed?
Do it!!!! Because....
Here is my story: I always thought my two front teeth were yellow b/c of coffee and smoking. I have tried everything to get them white and nothing worked. Well about a month before my wedding I was having pain in my front tooth. Went to the dentist and I need oral surgery b/c when I was 7 I went over the handel bars of my bike and landed on my face. Well it messed up my gums and bone (that hold my two front teeth in). So long story short they have been dying for the last 20 years and that is why they are more yellow then my other teeth. I am going the day after X-Mas b/c I need at least a week to recover (well talk or eat normal). I have that whole week off and that is what I will be doing. So, DO IT!!!!!

I literally had 2 teeth out of place and nobody could even tell - but I knew. So I've had retainers for about a year and the investment was totally worth it!

get it fix. I wanted to get before my wedding but got retainers instead. It usually take 2 yrs for braces but I know there are other things out there that it will be much quicker.

WHOOHOOOO!!! Thanks ya'll! I guess I just wanted to make sure I wasn't being vain. I'm paying for it myself...since most dental plans don't cover adult orthodontia but it'll be worth it. Yay!!
