What does everyone think? I am on the fence about it. We don;t have a huge budget but I keep hearing that it's worth the investment and I am starting to feel like a lot more details are involved than I originally anticipated. Any thoughts?

Re: Should I get Wedding Planner?
Honestly I think it depends on your personality. I gave myself a year and a half to plan my wedding so I wouldn't have to use a planner. There is a lot of research necessary to get exactly what you want for your budget. I also wanted to plan myself. If you have a really intense job or a lot of things going on and not much time to plan...OR you just feel better about having things in line for you...I say go for it. I know many girls that LOVED having a planner...good luck!

Re: Should I get Wedding Planner?
My RH provides a wedding planner but i'm doing most of that stuff on my own. however, i am paying extra for a DoC because I have anxiety and knowing that last minute stuff and or problems will be handled by someone else makes me feel so much better. Also they take care of everything that needs to be done a week before the wedding so that takes a lot of pressure and stress off too.
if you're not a high strung or high stress kinda gal, then maybe you don't need it. if you like doing everything yourself then maybe not either. but i definately think a DoC is a great thing to have and while i had to move my budget around a tiny bit to afford it, there are definately more affordable people out there.
