I'm having a bit of a debate with myself as to whether I should go with an updo or wear my hair down. I'm not sure which goes better with my face or dress. Maybe you all can help out? Here are the down do's that I like (#1 is a bride from The Knot (not me!) and #2 is Snowboardgirl's--her hair was amazing). Please let me know what you think.
ETA: I plan to wear my veil in the front

It was Sarah Rock. She's such a sweetie! We watched American Idol in her studio while I had my trial

Jen, I too have had the same debate for up-do/down-do. DF loves when my hair is down. I think that for a summer wedding having my hair up will be more comfortable. I also want to look a little different than I do every day. So I am leaning towards an up-do. I have my hair trials this week and next. Lisa

My vote is the Audrey Hepburn look that Claudia gave you. It goes perfectly with your dress, and you won't have to worry about your hair getting 'big' or 'frizzy' in July.

That is you in the first few pics right? Who did your makeup and hair in those first few pics, they look like a trial. You look really natural and very pretty. I am agonizing over this as well, but I would have been really happy with how those first few shots came out!
I started out with an updo and now I am thinking of letting it all down (as my hair usually is). Your face could carry either look. But down might be better.

I like it up. I'd have to see you with your hair down to really give you a better decision. But you looked very beautiful with your hair up.

The first pics--the 4 pics in a square format--are actually a bride on The Knot. But I can tell you that it was Claudia Pedala who did the hair and her sister, Maureen Pedala, who did the makeup. Maureen also did the makeup in my picture, which is under the pic of my dress. She's really sweet and very talented.

i have to say i'm a big fan of hair up. its out of the way, not on your neck (i hate the feeling of that) and doesn't go flat even if it falls a little. but LOOK wise is up to you-both are so pretty! but that's not being much help eh?!

My 2 cents: I think up and I preferred the Claudia Audrey Hepburn updo that you had over the one you posted. but either way I think up is more sophisticated and lower maintenance.
