Should I go with an up-do or down?

I'm having a bit of a debate with myself as to whether I should go with an updo or wear my hair down. I'm not sure which goes better with my face or dress. Maybe you all can help out? Here are the down do's that I like (#1 is a bride from The Knot (not me!) and #2 is Snowboardgirl's--her hair was amazing). Please let me know what you think.

ETA: I plan to wear my veil in the front

I love the hair down look - I saved SnowBoardGirl's pics as soon as I saw them!!!

I think both would look great with your dress, I think it's just a matter of comfort for you (heat/humidity, etc.)

I will be wearing my hair down - I have a round face and I feel like my head is HUGE when my hair is up!!!

Well I like wearing my hair down, and that is probably what I'm going to do.

You should go with the type of hair that complements your face best.

I think i would have to see pics of YOU with it up and down to really make a decision. I usually like it up but that pic of snowboardgirl is awesome....

I agree. I have a round face, and updo's do not flatter me. My hair will be done similar to Snowboardgirl's.

i like your hair down..very pretty hair..me personally im wearing mine up...i think i would be so annoyed with it down..i wouldnt be able to dance thinking if my hair is out of place...but thats me..either way is nice

I really like it up. I wore mine all up because I didn't want to be bothered with it AT ALL on my wedding day and I knew I would be dancing a lot. I am someone who often puts it up in a ponytail or clip on a regular day, though, so it made sense for me.

I like it up up also, you look so pretty, it does compliment your face, and plus july might be really humid..

Up-do is the way to go in my opinion.

I am having a july wedding and don't want to worry about heat, humidity or my hair.

So it sounds like up is the way to go. It might be better that way too since my hair is actually super curly and can get pretty frizzy. I just figured they'd shalack it with hair spray

Next question, should I do the traditional 'bride' up-do like in my hair trial or that sort of bun looking thing in the other 2 pics?
