Should I hire...

a DoC???

I am concerned because we will be on a tight schedule getting ready in the hotel, then taking a limobus to the arboretum for photos, then to Lands End for our ceremony.

During the ceremony, we have musicians, and a steel drom band for cocktail hour. I am worried about the schedule and the drums setting up during the ceremony. We wold only need one until after the beginning of the CH.

Am I being over stressed or are these valid concerns??

the way i see it, the price of a DOC is such a small % of the overall budget. you are spending so much money for that one day so everyone else can have a good time....the DOC is really for you. i consider it a gift of no (or at least less) stress.

so im all for it!

agreed.... this was FH's gift to me... ive been worrying this whoel time during planning about everything going right... now i have the wedding day to just relax and let someone else handle evereything.... and let me just say that they will also listen to concerns you have during planning and give you pointers along the way so its not just day of

I went back and forth on this myself. Then I met with Ryan from Above and Beyond events and we booked her!

For all the stuff that will be going on that day.. it will be nice to have someone else to deal with it. Which ultimately leaves you with less anxiety and more fun!

Oh and her prices weren't bad at all! I think it was like $450. I know we got $100 off because she was running a sale. I can't remember exactly. Some DOC are very pricey... but she wasn't that bad.

She was soooo nice and seems to be so helpful. I really liked her a lot!
