Should I include our last names?

Should I include our last names?

Hello,
I just ordered the invites for our E-Party and now I am wondering if the invites should state our last names? I did first names with no middle names because I didn't want it to read like a wedding invite, but now I think I should have included our last names. What do you think?

It currently reads:

You are invited to celebrate
the Engagement of
Katherine
and
Michael
at a party.....

Should it say:

You are invited to celebrate
the Engagement of
Katherine Jones
and
Michael Smith
at a party....blah blah blah....

I don't want it to seem so formal, but it seems too vague without our last names. Help!! What is proper?

Is it too late to change it? I would put last names because not everyone will know both.

I would put last names too- I had the same question and that is the consensus.

Thanks for the quick replies! Yikes! I hope it is not too late to change it. I will call the customer service # as soon as I get into work in the morning!

Don't sweat it, I'm sure you'll be able to change it but if not I don't think it's that bad. What did you put on our engagement invites, did you put our last names?

I'd vote for last names too - especially if people know you but not him, and vice versa...
