Call up my venue to tell them how dissapointed I was with them? Or being that it's over just let it be? Thanks.
1. I just found out that other brides had bridal attendants and I did not.
2. Our Maitre'D was switched on us last minute and was MIA most of the night.
3. They didn't place our personalized aisle runner down (imagine I would have spent 125 dollars to have it done, good thing I did it myself).
4. The placecards weren't put in order and the favors were not placed on the right tables.
5. Our guest didn't know what to do because no one was directing them.
6. They promised me if i got there early i could take pictures on the grounds and when I got there told me I couldn't because there was another bride there. The whole reason I booked the place was for their grounds.
Edited for number 6.

Re: Should I or Shouldn't I.....
I know it may be frustrating..but honestly..if it's over with..don't bother. No need to stress yourself out. OR..if you feel you really need to, write a letter.

Re: Should I or Shouldn't I.....
i understand you are upset, but unless you are looking for compensation or some kind of answer, i would let it go.
i don't think much can be done about it now.
sorry

I would definitely let them know. DH called the DJ when we got back from our honeymoon to let them know they made numerous mistakes throughout the night.

Yes, and if your MD was who I think it was, I'd definitely complain about him. They want to hear the bad and the good...otherwise, they won't know what to correct.

I'm so sorry that you had all those problems with the SC
Knowing myself, I would complain. if I don't speak up, it festers inside me and gets worse as time goes by. My suggestion would be to do it person or in writing.
good luck

Yes, I would address these problems with the owner/manager. You might just save another bride from going through the trouble you went through.

I agree! And you will at least feel better knowing that you got it off your chest! Good luck and so sorry you had to go through that!

Re: Should I or Shouldn't I.....
I wrote an extensive email to a vendor that left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I received no response but I felt a sense of relief. I assured them that I would not pursue the issue further but in all honesty, anyone could make a case out of anything nowadays. If contacting your vendor makes you feel better, then do it. Just choose your words carefully. Good luck!

If it were me, there would be NO way I would remain silent. I would call them. What's the worst that could happen? Nothing!
Did you tip anyone? I hope not! Doesn't sound like anyone deserved it!

So Sorry you had all these probelms. For what its worth, even though it is over, I would still write a letter or call them. What they did is not right & you wouldn't want the same thing to happen to future brides
They should be aware of the fact that you were not completely satisfied.

Re: Should I or Shouldn't I.....
I was very disappointed with a few of my vendors and couldn't get it off my mind. Right after the HM I called the vendors and 'vented'. I didn't expect anything out of it, but I thought IU was doing them a favor by letting them know what went wrong so it won't happen again. It made me feel better as well.

I would definitely call them or write a letter. I would not go off on them because it is over, but I would let them know how you feel. I am so sorry that you had all those problems!!!!!

I would definitely call and speak with the owner/manager if only for your own peace of mind. With all the money we spent on reception halls, it is unacceptable for them to have messed up the way they did - I would let them know. Maybe even pull the liweddings.com card b/c no vendors want a negative post!

If it were me, I would definitely contact them and let them know how disappointed you were with them. Like others have said, if you can prevent others from going through what you did, then it's worth it. I would also honestly put it in your review.

Re: Should I or Shouldn't I.....
I would absolutely call or better yet, i would pay them a visit.
1. For your peace of mind 2. To make sure that they are aware of how dissatisfied you are/were 3. To take corrective action with the BM (obviously someone needs to talk about what his responsibilities are) 4. To see if they can offer you come kind of make good (honestly I don't see that happening, but you won't get anything unless you ask). 5. Lastly because weddings are their business and they didn't perform as contracted, and as the paying customer you have every right to complain about legitimate deficiencies in the the service you received. It's a once in a lifetime event that you entrusted to them and they dropped the ball.
Sorry - I really hate poor service!

Re: Should I or Shouldn't I.....
First let me start by saying you are a better person that I am for controlling yourself on your wedding day while all of these disappointing things were going on. I think I might have thrown a hissy fit!! I too am getting married at the Swan club and on behalf all the swannies out there . The reason we picked the swan club was the grounds as well and if they prevented us from getting our pics taken …there would be some serious problems! I think the best thing you can do is call them or write them a letter expressing how dissatisfied you were with their services so hopefully they can become aware of the problems and you can possibly make some else’s wedding the day they were expecting.
