Should I register?

Should I register?

This is the second marriage for my FH, first for me. Should I make a bridal registry? We are all set with most household items although there are a few things I'd like to have.

He thinks we shouldn't....I'm torn.

If you think I should, what do I register for other than kitchen items?

Thanks!

i think you should!
are you going to have a shower?
a lot of times, guests and people who know you like the registry because it gives them an idea of what you would like so that they can give you a gift if they want to!

Yup! I'm having a shower! And since all of FH's relatives are from OOT, the guest list are all people who weren't at his first wedding.

Yes you should, because as a guest at a shower, I HATE when they don't register, because then I worry that I'm getting something they don't want.. It make life much easier if they register.. If your FH doesn't want to register for a lot, do simple things.. We needed extra sheets, and a wok.. things like that.. GOOD LUCK

Ofcourse you should! Register for what you need or would like to get.

Yes, you should register.
If you both have hobbies, perhaps there are things that you can incorporate in the registry that you both can use or if you'd like to entertain etc...

My DH felt the same way until we went and then he loved using the gun to scan everything.

If there are things you really need, I don't see the problem. Explain to your DH that it's more of a 'wish list' - not a 'you have to get this for me' list. That's what I said to my DH and he was happier with that line of reasoning.
