Should I surprise him??

We were talking the other night on the phone and fh mentioned he likes the idea of bagpipes at weddings since he's irish. Hmmm... how much would bagpipers cost? do hey always wear kilts (he doesnt want that part)??

i had 2 pipers and a drummer surprise my DH and his family because they're from ireland. he LOVED it and his family still talks about it. it was $150 each player. they wore irish kilts and it looked awesome. they were NYPD

Bagpipes with no kilts?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I would call some vendors and see what they say, I think it would be a great surprise! We know someone who plays in a band so he, his dad and brother will play for us!!! I'm really excited, I think we're gonna have them play for the reccesional.

i LOVE the pics. My fh is taking the nypd exam in june hopefully he'll be nypd by the time we get married). :)

the price of 150 p/p is amazing i think. how long did they perform? how did you find them are you or fh involved with the nypd?

im so excited i really love the pics.

no one i know is NYPD. i hired a piper from LIW but he passed away a few weeks before my wedding. his widow put me in touch with his bandmates and they honored his price. it was so worth it. they played about 20 minutes, which is all i wanted. they came marching in and everyone was shocked. you can hear people shouting in surprise on my video.
