My landlord (and her family... w/ 3 kids) live downstairs from us. Tomorrow night we're having a party, with about 15 people over. I don't expect it to get loud and crazy, but I feel like I might mention it since we live above them. But we've never once had a party in the 2 + years that we've lived here, and she always comments about how nice & quiet we are. Should I say anything? I'm afraid if I do it might put her more 'on edge'... what do you think?
P.S... they have to be the LOUDEST family in creation, so even if we do make some noise I'm not going to feel too bad!

Just give her a heads up that you are having some friends over. This way she knows whats going on.

I would tell her Jill. we tell the lady downstairs from us whenever we had parties.

Definitely just let her know that you're having a GTG with some friends, so that she shouldn't be surprised when she sees strangers walking up to the door (no need to mention anything about the noise level).
